Street to Forbes Campus Tour: Empowering Youths for a Productive Future

As part of our mission to “Empower Individuals to Earn and Become Productive Members of Society”, the Street to Forbes Campus Tour was created to equip today’s youths with the tools, mindset, and support systems they need to reach their full potential — especially in times of uncertainty.

Inspired by Dr. Akin Akinpelu’s remarkable journey — from hawking on the streets of Lagos to becoming a respected educator and multifaceted professional — the tour motivates youths to embrace resilience, continuous learning, and personal growth. His life is a powerful example of how education, perseverance, and self-belief can transform obstacles into opportunities.

So far, the Street to Forbes Tour has impacted thousands of youths at:

• Bells University of Technology

• Covenant University

• Chrisland University

• Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU)

We aim to expand this reach across Africa, targeting institutions like the University of Ilorin, University of Lagos, Bowen University, and others in Ghana, Kenya, and Rwanda.

Our Objectives:

• Equip youths with 21st-century skills for economic empowerment and sustainable development.

• Foster meaningful dialogue and inspire fresh perspectives in a fast-changing world.

• Create practical roadmaps for personal and professional growth.

• Promote self-development and personal branding as tools for socio-economic impact.
